Microfinance Initiatives

The Russian Microfinance Center is actively working with other partners to promote microfinance in Russia and is currently involved in several projects aimed at developing the sector. Despite the fact that the microfinance sector has been active in Russia for more than 10 years, microfinance is reaching no more than 10% of the possible small-business entrepreneurs that could benefit from microfinance, meaning there is incredible room for growth. In this section, you will find information on a range of initiatives undertaken by the RMC and its counterpart organizations to promote the development of microfinance and to improve the environment for small and medium-sized businesses.
