Benchmarking for Russian MFIs
In January 2005 RMC has started pilot phase of MFI Market Analysis that is being carried out in cooperation with MIX Market. It is planned that 5 Russian MFIs will participate in this Project. They will be filling out specialized data collection forms. First part of the Project is assumed to be completed by the beginning of March, 2005. In accordance with the pilot phase results RMC and MIX Market will sign Partnership Agreement in April-May, 2005 for further implementation of the Project in the territory of RF.
Unfortunately, as of today, most of Russian MFIs are not represented in MixMarket network. Therefore, Russian segment of world microfinance market is practically inaccessible for most donors and investors involved in MFIs financial support. In order to contribute to improving current situation in this area, RMC has taken initiative of conducting this project in cooperation with MIX Market.

Risk Insurance for MFIs
According to experience of Western countries, small business is one of the main components of country budget. Therefore, microfinance market is of a great importance for country economy.
Company OSAO "Rossiya" holding financial risks insurance license in cooperation with RMC offers a non-repayment risk insurance program for MFIs in order to maintain, improve, and develop Russian microfinance market.
It includes two lines of activities: - Creditors' financial risks insurance;
- Borrowers' mortgage security insurance.

Microfinance Events Announcements
Consumer Crediting in Russia, 2005
14-17 April, 2005 First Moscow Consumer Cvredit and Finance Exhibition CreditEXPO 2005 and International Conference "Consumer Crediting in Russia 2005" will take place in Expo-center in Krasnaya Presnya. These events will be organized by Association of Russian Banks in cooperation with International Exhibition Agency IFA. They will be conducted under patronage of Ministry of Economy Development, Ministry of Finance, and State Duma of RF.
Conference is oriented at professionals working in consumer crediting area, and its aim is to contribute to consumer crediting sector consolidation and successful development. As exhibitions' guests managing companies' representatives, funds managers, investments specialists from banks, insurance and investments companies, and large financial-manufacturing and manufacturing holdings will be invited.

Entrepreneurial Business. Small and Medium Business
1-3 June 2005 First Interregional Specialized Exhibition "Entrepreneurial Business. Small and Medium Business" will take place in Tomsk. We invite to participate: - Small and medium business representatives to advertise and sale goods and services;
